It is this spirit that guides everything we do at BaMEC.

Who We Are
Bafut Manjong East Canada (BaMEC), legally registered as COMMUNAUTÉ DES ÉLITES BAFUT DE L'EST DU CANADA, is a Black-led, non-profit organization based in Quebec.
Founded in 2017 as a mutual-support network, BaMEC was created to support families, preserve cultural identity, and help members successfully integrate into Canadian society.
In 2023, BaMEC was officially launched as a structured organization, expanding its reach, partnerships, and impact.
Today, BaMEC plays a dual role:
- Supporting diaspora communities
- Contributing to a stronger, more inclusive Canadian society
